Hostal La Casa de La Plaza

Host pointed out only 1 bathroom when there were actually 3 and that one became locked at one point so I thought I had no bathroom to use.Not used to Spsnish names on doors so I did not figure out the other 2 baths until pointed out to me.Yes,I felt very stupid afterwards but I should have been told there was a bathroom for only 2 bedrooms to share. That's a selling point that was not pointed out.

Its realy value for the money, I would give it grade 10. Position is superb, cant be better. Everything is in a walking distance. Very friendly staff, happy to help and give you the info. Sheets was clean and toilet (despite the fact that is shared use) was also clean how much it could be. I can recommend this place.

The 3 people in the office are attentive and very helpful. They kindly solved my photo computer problem and changed the air conditioner (heatwave in Madrid). The bathroom is very large and has space for personal belongings. Very practical! I, who am not a light sleeper, finally slept very well.

Staff were brilliant. So helpful. Early check in was no charge. Looked after our bags on check out for half a day too. So kind. Really reasonable price.

Hostel is in very good location, in the city centre. The room was basic, but enough for one night. The hostel is clean and with the possibility to leave bags after check-out, so we could go sight-seeing without bags.
